A Preview... Just to Confuse You!
Keeping all my travel experiences in one location has been going on since Hurricane Harvey destroyed our home and left me without any of my pictures. My goal is to keep a record of all our travels and have a place for my kids to know where I am… because it could be anywhere! This trip, I have fallen terribly behind. A mixture of health-related fatigue and being just plain busy, has caused the breakdown. In order to catch up, I will be mixing old and new posts. Below, you will find a brief summary of what’s to come and the basic order of postings for the near future. Hopefully, by the time I meet up with Barry, I will be all caught up!!!
Currently, I am in Rethymno, Greece on the island of Crete. After completing this summary, I will post about my crazy arrival to Chania Airport.
Next post will be today’s adventures (at day’s end). High school friend, Cathy Delibassis has been a gracious guide, sharing her island with me.
Next will be a two-part post on Ephesus. We saw so much, it can’t go into just one post!
After Ephesus, I will share Day Three in Rethymno. There isn’t a “teaser” photo because we haven’t had it yet! Then I can get back to our port stop in Istanbul. This stop was completely different (in a good way) than I had imagined!
Once finishing the list above, I will post a little something about cruise life! Because I am currently in Crete, it will be my priority so that I have up to date with at least part of it. Otherwise, I continue to fall more and more behind.
Next will be our first day in Athens. Our cruise ended in the Port of Piraeus, just outside of Athens. We had a potential “travel nightmare” that I will share in that post…
The last post before being completely caught up (I hope!) is our second and last day in Athens. Roxanne leaves from here, and I go on the next phase of this journey with hubby!
Don’t think I’m missing out on vacation mode… I have a very nice “office” at Hotel Poseidon in Rethymno! Peaceful, oceanview, private balcony. This is the most restful way to play catch up!
