Jumping on our second FlixBus from Split to Dubrovnik. It can be a little slow but what an inexpensive (and comfortable) way to travel across Europe!

As has been the case for this entire trip… I am way behind! It’s been a combination of too much fun and poor wifi. We are finally in a place where my photos are going through so hopefully, I can get a little caught up! We arrived in Zadar, Croatia with the intention of getting Barry to recoup from jetlag before heading out to explore… (interesting name for a restaurant but it came highly recommended)
After a crazy travel day(s) for both of us, we finally met up in Zagreb. Silhouetted in front of the Adriatic Sea, we are tired but excited to get this trip started!
Starting the day with a colorful sunrise, it was a full day! Naps, exploration and good food is how this day was spent!
What a view to wake up to! Although I just arrived, Rethymno already has my heart.
Roxanne and I say goodbye in Athens. Next a five day intermission in Rethymno for me. Then the next chapter begins with Barry!
So… this trip has been completely action packed. Today is May 14. We have been on the go for 24 days… Usually, I can keep up with posting on a daily basis but not this trip. In order to not fall any more behind, I will be posting the current and the missed ports.
Next stop… Corfu, Greece. What a great spot! Click on the photo and check out this beautiful location!
Arriving in Dubrovnik at 8am, we started slow and disembarked around 9:30. You know, you don’t want to get too early of a start! In about two weeks, I will be meeting Barry here. We will be staying for three or four days. This changed the way I explored the area….
