It’s cruise day!!!! Our long awaited trip has finally arrived. Up fairly early, we had our coffee… ordered an Uber and headed to port. We received an email announcing a delay in boarding. Everyone booked before noon needs to arrive one hour later. Uber dropped us off about 45 minutes after our scheduled boarding time and we went right on the ship! Navigator of the Seas!
Got off work a little early, slept a couple of hours and off to the airport we go! Sunrise from the top of Mt Rose was beautiful. Can’t wait to get on that plane and head out of town!

Fourteen years ago today, we were on the Sapphire Princess getting married. Each year, we try to visit somewhere special to celebrate another year. Kauai was the perfect addition to the location list!

Not feeling 100%, the rest of the family went up to Waimea Canyon while I relaxed. That’s what vacation is all about, right? For me, this is a time to rejuvinate. For “Wexa” it is a time for exploration! So off to the canyon they went with the gang!

After a good night sleep, I was up and ready to start the day! Still worn out from my work schedule, my plan was to take it easy.
Crazy summer comes to an end and vacation season begins! We start this “season” with a family vacation to our former home, Kauai. My kids were especially happy to their home turf!
