Next stop... Winchester!

Everywhere we’ve visited, including Winchester, we have seen tributes to the England’s new royalty. There are magazines, Christmas ornaments, pictures, dolls… lots of memorabilia honoring the new King and his bride. One common attitude, is a bit of a distaste for King Charles’ wife…It may be the areas we are visiting, but it has been the general consensus so far.

Brilliant Bath... UK gem

With our hotel just outside the arches, we are in the perfect location for exploring. Another charming British city. Named for it's Roman built baths, this area still draws many visitors for wellness in day spas. See what else this place has to offer!

Beautiful Bournemouth!

Visiting on a recommendation from a friend originally a Bristol native, we love exploring this beach resort! Ready with umbrellas, there was no need on this sun shiny day!

Jolly Ole England!

It it’s spring, we are traveling… we must get it in before the busy working summer! Because of our standby status, we had to take the first flight out of Houston and headed to Detroit. It looked like our best bet… what a great day for flying! Bumpy… and, we got First Class (domestic so more like business)

Rainy Days and Saturdays...

One has the option of packing more shoes when you only have to bring one of each… with a boot on one foot and a variety of shoes on the other, I was set! I also had covers to protect my boot, but I’m a bit of a baby so I didn’t dare to go through the mud of the fairgrounds!

Next stop... NOLA!

My broken foot made it back to Tahoe where it continued snowing and I hobbled through a few days of work. Then off to Jazz Fest! Music, music and more music… We caught the first flight of the day!

Keukenhof Gardens

To our good fortune, Keukenhof Gardens opened a couple days before our arrival… this is a bonus post with photos of the flowers. That’s all it has… beautiful, colorful flowers!
