Port Stop: Vigo, Spain

We had three port stops to start the cruise portion of vacation. One was new and two others we had visited some time ago. Departing the ship, photographers wait to take photos. Usually, we pass right by them but this time, I decided to cozy up to the bear. Of course, Barry wasn’t the least bit interested…

Mdina, Malta

After reading about a nearby town, we decided to head for Mdina after our morning coffee. Only about 20 minutes away, it was well worth the visit! (Try to ignore the fact that the cathedral is crooked in its placement! oops)

Marvelous Malta!

It’s always a plus when you find cafe that serves a decent sized cup of caffeine! It gets embarrassing to order two or three. After a restful sleep, we got up to explore Valletta! What a charming place…

Next Surprise Stop!

Up early, we packed our bags and headed for a quick excursion before the tram station. It’s time to say goodbye to our little Apartment Duomo. This cover photo is from the next surprise destination…

The Exploration Continues...

Jetlag got the best of me this trip… I’m usually pretty good at it. Yesterday, I just didn’t have it in me to post. So this will be the end of Florence and the beginning of a new location! Our journey took us through Barcelona… just in time for a beautiful sunset!

Good Morning, Firenze!

Constantly checking the weather before leaving Texas, we were happy to see the reports were slightly off. It was supposed to have quite a bit of light rain…but we have had very clear, sunny skies. It’s not hot, but it is warm. Perfect exploring weather!

Vacation Surprise!

Well over a year ago, we planned a TransAtlantic cruise from Southampton to Port Canaveral. True to my nature, that meant a “pre-cruise” trip had to be organized. This time, I decided not to tell Barry where we would be going… with backpacks packed, we began our journey.

Tahoe2Texas: Day One

Here we go again! Tahoe to Texas and Texas to Tahoe… twice a year we make this crazy trip to transport our puppies! Traveling with Border Collies is… well… special :-) We will be seeing this same view for miles and miles and miles!!!
