My broken foot made it back to Tahoe where it continued snowing and I hobbled through a few days of work. Then off to Jazz Fest! Music, music and more music… We caught the first flight of the day!

To our good fortune, Keukenhof Gardens opened a couple days before our arrival… this is a bonus post with photos of the flowers. That’s all it has… beautiful, colorful flowers!
It was explained to us that because the canals are in a “U” shape, there are easy “shortcuts” to getting from one place to another. With my foot in a boot, shortcuts were a necessity!
Our go-to is the Sheraton at the airport. I felt obligated to take a photo with the “I amsterdam” sign outside the airport. Apparently there is another in the canal area, but I haven’t seen it.
There’s something about sitting outdoors with a cathedral view that makes all food taste better! Today was no exception… we had a great meal at l’experience located at the base of the church side.
Such a great view to come “home” to each night… Our days were pretty fun too!
Back in the historical town of Malaga… what an amazing place! This little beachside town has more than Sangria… but this was a great place to begin our return visit.
Our time in Barcelona was short because of all the travel mishaps… we did as much as we could in our short time. Now was our scheduled time to move on to the next location… Malaga, Spain! Getting there was half the fun!
Experiencing all of that beauty makes one work up an appetite! While our friends walked through the museum, we scoped out a restaurant for lunch. Across from the cathedral was a nice outdoor cafe. The view allowed us one last look at this masterpiece of architecture.. What a view!
